Driftwood with ADFs?

Hi all. I recently acquired a small bit of driftwood and decided to attach a java fern to it and set it down into my 7 gal tank with my African dwarf frogs. There's 2 in there, with gravel substrate and an anubias nana plant. My question is, after soaking it in near-boiling water for a few days and then letting it soak for the rest of the week in normal water, changing it 2-3 times, is it safe that I put it in there with my frogs? I figured it was perfectly fine until a pang of anxiety hit me over the thought of tannins or something of the sort leeching into the water and killing them

I’ve had driftwood with frogs before and never had problems with it. Unless your water is already super acidic, adding tannins shouldn’t have any negative effects. Most bodies of water have some amount of tannins, so as long as you aren’t going tannin crazy, you should be perfectly fine.
