Didn't feel like there were enough progression pic to put this in Tank journal and I don't plan on posting much more beyond maybe a re-scape sometime down the line.
36 gallon bow front that an old roommate left behind.
It has been what I consider my most successful tank so far.
Minimal deaths, plants are doing well (flourishing would be pushing it I think), algae bloom was contained and taken care of in a few weeks without nuking the plant population, and It doesn't look half bad IMHO. Didn't really have a look in mind just what ever looked cool.
Lighting is a finnex fugeray planted+
Aquatop canister filter.
Stopped dosing the tank with ferts when a fairly significant algae bloom came up, haven't resumed since the algae went away.
May step up some kind of iron dosage for all of the red going on.
CO2 was used at the start and helped with algae control, rolled it back as time went on due to the plants seeming to do well enough without and just general laziness of heading to get the tank refilled.
Several more pics posted in the imgur page below
