Pressure dropping

I have an Aquatek premium co2 regulator that I bought about 6 months ago. Last week I started noticing the pressure is dropping from 40psi to 30psi, then jumping back up to 40. I have checked all my connections and did not find any leaks. Do you know what else may be causing this?

Thank you,
Matt

Any reason you need to run at such high working pressure?

I run it that high for the diffuser, if I keep it at 2opsi where it used to be it drops to low to even work.
