Anyone ordered from jacobsaquarium.com?

His prices are SUPER low. I like his YouTube vids and he seems knowledgeable. The plants he shows in his videos always look SUPER healthy. Just wondering is anyone has ordered from him. I had a bad experience with buceplant so I don’t want to get screwed again.

I was actually looking at Buceplants, any reason they left a bad taste with you?

the prices weren’t that low and half the plants were basically dead after like 3 days. They looked good in the package and especially my cabomba turned yellow like a day after I put it in my tank and it never grew back. The cabomba looked weird too

The prices are definitely at a premium, it's not cheap.

Are those tissue cultures, or not? I have found that some plants are grown emersed, which takes time to acclimate.

I think they were all emmersed. And they aren’t tissue culture unless you specifically get the tissue culture ones

I've had some that I bought like sometime last year from wetplants.com, and they used ferts in their emersed plants, and wiped my shrimps. Refund didn't cut it.

Emersed plants are common, soak up the CO2, etc so they grow faster, I had to actually reach out to their reps, and got the confirmation.

no I know that. I thought you said they used some fertilizer on the plants and it killed your shrimp.
