Pretty much every book written on labs generally contains the phrase "destructive chewer" in it somewhere.

Walls, furniture, pretty much everything in our house that could be chewed on has at some point.

Luckily as Bob has matured (more or less) he's learned that some things when chewed result in a "dammitbob" and usually resists the urge to tread there.

My one cat goes ape for Hikari first bites.
He comes and sits with me while I feed the fry, and then he purrs like crazy.
Eventually figured out it was about the first bites.

Guess you can make bowiewowie with your dog (Cheech and Chong reference)

I had a friend in high school with a Lab named Festus that about once every couple of months would show up with a plastic six-pac ring. No kidding. Usually there were a couple of beers still in the ring. Can't say I ever remember him bringing pop though. As true red-blooded American high school students I can assure you that we dealt with the situation appropriately in each instance.

5. The molding along the kitchen bay window
6. The hard wood floors (I have no clue how she did that)

9. Carpet
10. CD's (a spindle of 50...that had to hurt coming out)

OK, when Shep the wonderpup pulled a 2 pound bag of pancake mix off the counter and scarfed it down, I thought I'd seen it all. But that list has some real jaw-droppers on it.

By the way, Shep is in the 90Lb category and when you mix dog slobber with pancake mix you basically get mortar thrown all over your hardwood floors.

Reminds me of that seinfeld episode where Kramer bought too much Beef-A-Reeno at Priceclub and gave it to a handsome cab horse in which George's future in-laws had the 'pleasure' of riding in.
