My name is Matt and I live in the great state of Oklahoma (no, we don't live in teepees and no, we don't ride around on horses).
I've been reading through a lot of posts in this forum, and I finally took the plunge and registered--it seems like a great community of fish lovers and I can't wait to become more active!
Anywho, my current setup is as follows (any comments/advice/criticisms welcome):
Fluval Edge (6 gal):
4 Neon tetras (they were supposed to be cardinals
2 male guppies
3 female guppies
2 Lyre/longtail swordtails (1 male, 1 female)
1 female swordtail
5ish ghost shrimp
1 Kuhli loach
3 Mystery snails
2 Amazon swords (bleheri and amazonicus)
3 assorted anubias
1 Marimo moss ball
1 Java fern
This tank has been setup for about a month now, and everything seems to be doing well, both plants and fish(es). This is actually the manifestation of a renewed interest in fishkeeping; I had a few tanks earlier in my life (highschool) but dismantled them when I went to college. Now a fresh college graduate, I find I have a little more time on my hands (thanks to the job market). :-P
A little more about me: I just graduated college from OU with a degree in music. I have a lot of interests, including yoga, zen, fish, pets in general, gardening, and music.
Thanks, and I can't wait to get to meet some of y'all!
