Thanks for the responses. Trying to load pictures from my phone so not sure all of them will be posted. Tank has been up and running for around 4 years. Previously, I had peacocks but it was always a battle so I wanted more peaceful fish.
Current stock list is 6 Cory cats, 6 nerite snails, 3 bleeding heart tetras, 3 black phantom tetras, 3 rose line sharks, 1 green phantom pleco and 1 blue Acara.
I've almost always had some sort of diatoms in the sand but it's never been really bad. Phosphates were 10+ppm when I tested today. I'm hoping to get a large water change in tomorrow. Since I sold off my cichlids I haven't been doing much with the tank. My green phantom pleco was enjoying the single life for a while.
Do I need to pull any of these from the sane and attach them to driftwood? Java fern?
