Low-Tech 20 Gallon

I ran under-gravel freshwater tanks as a kid, adopted a saltwater tank in college, and ran a tank or two for a while. Irene flooded and destroyed my last marine tank, but I finally came back to the hobby.

This is my first planted tank, with a couple of inches of organic soil from a local Vermont composting site, capped with black and white sand, and the driftwood from my childhood tank.

Cheers

Welcome, like the tank. I always like 20 gallons, its a good size.
Looks like that sword was grown emersed based on the leaf shape so don't be surprised if those rounder leaves die off and are replaced by sword-shaped leaves.

I removed some plants and started running some automation with my Apex EL.
