Palladium, paludarium, riparium... difference and plants?

I broke down yet again and bought another nano... 3.5 gal rimless.

I want to do a 'out and in' water scape. In research I am rather obsessed with the bonsai/mangrove look. But what is it called so I can search easier for plants?

Palladium:
Paludarium:
Riparium:
... difference?

What plants are most highly recommended for the above? I assume things that are water tolerant... but many real bonsai are not, peace lily are- but I wanted something more 'tree' like. Thoughts? Thanks!

Paludarium is a vivarium with land and water sections, a riparium is too but with more water, usually with flow. Palladium is a metal.

When I saw it, that is what i originally thought. But when googling it- tanks pop up everywhere! Type Palladium tank, or aquarium into google images and there are thousands of photos, haha.

Ok make sense now. I just picked up a freebie 55 that the frame is worse for wear so thinking of doing something like this but didn't know what it was called.

I think it's just from people mis-hearing or misspelling paludarium. A lot of people are familiar with the word Palladium because it was a popular name for theaters and dance halls. Most people haven't heard the word paludarium and they substitute.
