First Nano Tank

2.5 Gallon Nano Tank
White sand with crushed black aquarium gravel
3 Cherry Shrimp
2 Small Live Bearers
3 Nurite Snails (1 is a turtle nurite, 1 is a horned)
A handful of different plants I got from the store (all 20% off I just grabbed like 7 different kinds)
14watt Philips CFL

I started this last night.
Going to work on some foreground cover next... maybe some hairgrass or maybe just stretching out the moss.
Also looking for a small piece of wood for the back right corner.
Comments, Suggestions.

Pictures are available on my tumblr blog in my signature, I won't clog up this post with a bunch of pictures.

Day 2.
I moved the rock and singapore moss.
I took the moss and spread it out on the sand then put some mesh and rock on top of it to hold it down. Hopefully this creates a floor covering.

Has anyone ever tried to make a floor covering like this?

THat 'fork' on that branch looks like a great place to stick some moss...

I don't know if it will actually hold to that though. Its not a stick. I believe its actually a part of a sea anemone. The local store had a big box of them. They are very smooth, I don't know if the moss would ever stick.

Can anyone help to identify the plants? Check my tumblr blog the photos there are better.
