Mick's 29 Gallon tank

This tank has been going for a while now. I just got a few new plants (Echindorus Tenellus and Hygrophila Siamensis 53B) which are a carpet plant and a taller leafy plant. I already had Java Ferns, Amazon swords and Anubias. The older plants I had for a while weren't doing very well. I put in new substrate for plants called Flourite and some sand. I got some new LED lights for plants. I got some Macro nutrients and micro nutrients. I added some wood to my tank a while ago which lowered my PH. My fish and plants were unhappy. My friend leant me his CO2 system which I just fine tuned to about 2.7 bubbles per second. My co2 level is about 30PPM. I've raised my PH from 5 to 7 with baking soda. It also raised my KH to 9 from 1. My GH is 3 last I checked. My plants and fish are doing a lot better now. The plants are pearling. It looks like there's some new growth starting now, I think things are about to take off. I turn my air off during the day and turn it on at night. I'm going to start dosing fertizers/nutrients 3 times a week and do a 50% water change once a week. I might get some crushed coral or seashells so I don't have to keep adding baking soda to raise the PH.
I also plan on using very small amounts of hydrogen peroxide to keep hair algae at bay.

Current fish in tank:
12 Neon tetras
2 Congo tetras
4 Glow light tetras
4 Ottocinculous
1 Clown Pleco
1 African dwarf frog
1 bamboo shrimp
1 Juli Cory catfish

I will keep you posted on what happens, along with some pictures.

Oh my corkscrew vallisneria nearly died a while ago, I trimmed all the dead leaves off and re planted it in the sandy area, it looks like I might of saved it.

Tank looks good bro. Your friend who lent you the co2 tank sounds like an awesome guy. It's gonna look great when it fills in. What type of light are you running?

So I had way too much light... Algae is starting to grow already. I've removed the two LED panels for now. Here's some more pics, everything is growing. I've made some cuttings from my tall plants and planted more of them along the back. I've moved my wood around a bit. Ive also moved my corkscrew grass back and to the side.

I used some hydrogen peroxide to kill some black hair algae. The hair is now turning red(it's dying.) I got some Amano shrimp today to eat the rest of the algae hopefully. A little plant was in with the Amano shrimp, so I planted it in the sand near the back of the tank. Freebe! Lol it looks good.
