6.5 gal Fluval Edge

Brand new tank. Modded the lighting a bit to add a cfl 10w bulb to the stock led strip. Have planted dwarf hair grass and anubias.

Don't have any c02. Will I be okay with the current set up? I'm hoping to get a nice carpet of the dhg.

Open to any suggestions.

I'm sorry, but it does not look like anubias. More like an Amazon sword?

If it is indeed anubias, please pull the rhizome clear of the substrate. The roots can stay in but the rhizome has to be exposed. It's the green horizontal stem where the roots and leaf stalks come out of.

Nope, not anubias. It looks like Amazon sword. They can get quite big, but you can see how it goes in your tank. Maybe move it forward and to the centre a little. The planting depth looks fine.
I can't comment on DHG, as I have not grown it before. But I am particularly fond of the left back high slope like you've done. Here's proof, lol.

Have fun and good luck with your set up! I particularly like the look of the Edge, but I don't like the challenges of working with it. Especially since I am prone to arranging and re-arranging. That would be a nightmare with this aquarium.

Swords need medium light and in the corner it will NOT get sufficient light to survive (leaves will turn translucent and melt over time).

Due to photobuckets new bs cost for use of images on forums I have deleted all photobucket accounts. I apologize if you enjoyed or found my photos helpful.
