a 29 gallon and two 10 gallons

29g - Fernished
2*39W T5HO
pressurized CO2
river rocks and manzanita wood
mainly needle-leaf java ferns (thanks to rountreesj)
set up for three weeks -

issues - two-dimensional in appearance...needs tweaking...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
10g - unnamed
2*13W spiral CFL
irregular excel dosing
rocks collected from here and there
mainly moss and anubias
setup went through tons of green algae without the moss. here's the tank at about three weeks -

setup at about five weeks -

issues - no foreground...mass of plants on right need to be trimmed and planted neatly, or removed once tank stabilizes...

---------------------------------------------------------------------
10g - Mosscape
2*13W spiral CFL
irregular excel dosing
mainly mosses
setup at about six weeks -

issues - the top piece stands out...not in harmony with the other rocks...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks,
Arin

Excellent scapes, they all look like they would make great lowtech scapes!

Loving the 29g the most though wit hthe rocks and the wood, looks like a nice river scape.

Off to a wonderful start.

My planted tank. 55 gallon fluorite substrate over soil, 64 watts of light, excel twice a week. Weekly water changes. Angelfish pair, guppies, BN plecos and otos. Redone 11/13/2012
One non planted tanks. 75 gallon.

All 3 look brilliant.

Patience is the name of the game.

Well, "Fernished" was put together for a very nice lady who wanted to surprise her husband on his birthday...It's going to be reassembled at her place, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to take pix there.

There was not much I could do with the 1st 10g...The moss had grown in (only needed trimming now and then)...The anubias would just throw off new leaves and get bushier :-D...and the mexican oak leaf bush needed to be removed...

I didn't like "Mosscape" that much...The moss growing on the stones at the bottom wouldn't let me place the piece of wood in the way I wanted it...Hence, frustration, which led me to do the thing I do best, give up...:-D

Don't worry Kolkri, I'll be back in the game soon...
