The root - 15g

This is my 2nd planted tank. I manage to get space for the 3rd fish tank in our living room.

All i wanted was a tank with nice carpet. I thought of a igwami style tank but i didn't have enough rooks & there was no place to get some sexy rooks. This may not be the final layout!!

The stuff

Tank: 50 x 30 x 35 cm
Substrate: I had some left over ADA Amazonia mixed with aquarium soil from local store
Lights: DIY T5 (2 x 6500k, 1 x 10000k, 1 x red)
CO2: DIY + API CO2 booster
piece of driftwood from my old tank

Bump: How it started
Substrate halfway trough!

Bump: Not so gud

Hum, This is how it turned out.

There is heavy fog. I have added seachem clarity few shots.

& that ugly canopy I think i should reduce the height. need to make CO2 gets going.

Also put some plants i have had in old tank for the moment.

Needs to go shopping some plants.

I hope i could cap the leaks & stop the unexpected blasts

Until i get funds for proper CO2 set up.

glossostigma help

HI,

I think i have a problem with recently planted glossostigma

I brought a pot of glossostigma from a local shop. It was kinda long when i remove them from the pot so i divided them in to few bunches & planted by using fingers. That time water is already filled.

It has been about 10 days now, I can see that glossostigma is growing but towards the way which i don't want. Its growing vertically but i wanted it be grow as carpet.

What should i do now? cut the stems & plant them again? anybody know better way to make it a carpet???
