4 foot community in desperate need of refurbishment !

so i got this tank a while ago , its one of 2 i got that were ex- display tanks at my lfs , they where dirt cheap at 10 so i thaught why the heck not , i mean where else are you goung to find a four footer at 10 .
anyway , its been running for a while and all is good the fish are healthly are looking good , (exept for a frog i rescued developing a blood lust ) anyway , ive never scaped this tank and im going to , my other which is a little taller will be all kitted out and hi tec in my room but that has to wait a while untill funds present themselves , anyway im going to do this very low tech and low maintinence however with quite a good aquascape that apeals to the eye because for now it looks unsightly . anyway this will be the journal . piks will be added shortly. i just need to fuigure out how to get them to work .

I'm not hot on aquascaping, but long shallow tanks look mint with just half or 3/4 filled water, with rocks/branches/plants coming up out of the water.

Have a look on ukaps.org too, will be plenty of people you can get plants and help from in the UK as well as help on here from.

I love your tank and would love to have one like it. I would scape it like a football pitch and have 2 different types of shirmp in it (for the teams) and put some Zebra danios in it to ref the game.

It was my GF's idea with a shallow 75 that had the footprint of a 120. I did not get the tank but wanted it really bad. I would have just had low growers in it and made it one huge shrimp tank with tetras in it.
