I'm always envious of people that have masses of java fern. Looks good.

Is the rhizome of the anubias above the substrate? I can't tell from the image. If not, just move it up a little.

Here us a look at the tank one week out.. and yes, the rhizome on the anubias plant is not submerged in the gravel...I had a small melt on some of the older leaves but the plant is putting new growth out.

the tank is still having some melt on one of the two large ferns... but I just updated the second bulb in the hood to a 10,000 k fluorescent bulb so it now has 2 of the same bulbs in it and I added 2 very small led strips to the front of the tank for some light in the very front. the tank may begin to respond better. we will see. on an up side, I have not lost any of the fish that was purchased with the plants. I am moving the anubias to the right side of the tank this new week to make room for a few more plants for the other side.... and looking to go on a plant expedition for jungle val and some thing else to give the tank some more height in the back

So I have a little situation. I had some problems with some pond snails in the tank so I brought a skunk loach from my home tank and put the fish in the tank and moved the red minor and black phantom tetras from the tank. I added 2 more female mollies that were half off at the lfs. I was trying to put trios of all the fish in the tank... well, I also added a mystery plant to the tank from the lfs after it went through a hydrogen peroxide dip.

So, this morning the skunk loach has ick. I treated the tank for ich and about an hour later I noticed that u have 4 baby mollies.

What do I do about the ich other than continue to treat the tank with the medications? Will it affect the mollies the babies are young? I can't put the hang on side nursery on the tank until tomorrow.

Finally have all the plants in place. Still fighting ick and keeping the Temps to 80 degrees but that is another story. Diatomaceous are setting in on the tank so I think the tank may be going through a mini cycle...
