29 gallon tetra tank

Here is a picture of my 29 gallon tank the morning after it was setup. It is clear that I will never win any competitions.

The big rocks where bought at the LFS. Ths small ones were picked up along the Blanco river near Wimberly TX. The wood came from www.manzanita.com.

The current inhabitants are one male guppy, 10 head and tail lights, and Houdini the DP.

Filtration is an Eheim 2213. Light is Catalina T5 4x24. Pressurized CO2. PPS Pro dosing.

It could beat all of my tanks hands down! Don't be so hard on yourself/tanks. I love all of your tanks!

PS. Is Houdini the DP you raised from a fry?

Wow! Houdini is famous now. Next it's a spot on good morning america. I don't envy him his success. I just wish I could get a decent picture of him. He's a bit less than 1/2 inch long.

It's a good beginning. Don't worry about winning a contest right away . Just mature it and modify it over time and you will make a nice scape.

BTW is the tank cycled yet?

Patience is the name of the game.

So this is where Houdini lives when he isn't in a bucket! Beautiful tank. I absolutely love it.

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.

malaybiswas - The filter had been running on the 20L for a couple of months, and I did not change the media. So no ammonia or nitrite spikes.

My Anubias are pearling this evening! Nobody else though. I guess because they are at the top near the lights.

I have seen Houdini several times this evening. He is making a slow inspection of the entire tank, carefully looking at each leaf. Hoping I guess for a small snail. I have seen some snail eggs on the plants so he probably won't be disappointed for long.
