Low tech this time...

So MTS hit me too, just when I thought one tank is enough and why need another?
Pulled the topless 12G fluval edge from the storage , put a frosted background on it, added Amazonia Powder, and got a nice piece of wood that happened to be tall and skinny, perfect for the tall and skinny edge...
I'm going low tech with this one since it will be on my night stand and I already have my 60P hi tech...I guess I gotta try something different at this point...

For plants I was thinking Java fern (narrow, needle leaf), and some type of moss to cover the piece of wood entirely, and I might do a carpet of some sort, not sure what carpeting plant lives with no CO2... My Monte Carlo does pretty well with no CO2 (excel only) in the 60p..until I get around putting the co2 system together..

The issue is this: my wife wants one pair of bigger fish than what I'm gonna have in the 60p(otos, green neon tetras), so what are my options?this is a weird tank and really hard to stock properly...I was thinking a pair of German blue Rams but I'm afraid I'm gonna run into problems with them...

Here is the picture of it as it is right now until the moss comes in:

A bunch of Christmas moss and a couple hours later, the tank is filled and the moss is on the wood.
What you guys think?
What should I do with the empty space?moss wall or needle leaf Java fern?or...?

I like what you have done so far! I am interested to see how it grows out and you shape it. I think a nice chunk of java fern would look good in the back. Alternatively having a light color, large upright and rounded stone in the back right corner may counter balance the wood nicely and a couple (or maybe just one) more pieces of the same type of stone but much smaller, up front.
