Good start. Are you planning on growing more plants for them?

Yuppers they were dull in the first week. I ordered some microworms but did not arrive till 4 days after the dario dario came so I had to at least ween them onto flakes. Than when I got the microworms they got full bellies and really brigthened up.

Well I have no c02, I am dosing with Flourish time by time. Hopefully the plants will grow in without that much maintence needed.

46 gallon would be a playground for them seeing they max out at 1 inch. I read a lot before purchasing them and haven't came across any reports of them being hostile so I would say they should do well in an aquarium like yours. Maybe medium sized community might be aggressive towards dario dario.

I ordered some envelopes so hopefully I can send out cultures, I included some free ones in my packages tuesday. I used small flat rate boxes and cubes so I had enough room to include some. If my envelopes don't come in at time I bought mine from aquabid.com I believe was like $3 free shipping because the cultures can be sent through First Mail. So I would order the MW than the fish.

Dario Dario prefer live foods and the microworms wiggle so they are drawn to it rather than flakes. Even though I fed flakes I was unsure if they were eating it or not seeing I didn't have the MW at the time.

I also tried BBS and they liked those as well.

I see an occasional fatty female, but with other fish in the tank{big mistake if breeding is the goal}No luck yet. Should have kept it strictly dario dario, as that was my intention. Too many cool fish, too few tanks...

The tank needs a re-scape, hopefully in the next few days.
