55G rescape

Hello all...just thought I would share some updated pics of my 55G tank's rescape.

you have the elements in there for real nice composition.

can you get the tips of the branches on the left side to point into the aquarium space in a natural way? the way that they lean up and to the left has the effect of diverting the eye out of the frame.

Yeah the left end bothers me to...seemed like a good idea until I stepped back from it. I have some left over manzanita I may compose another smaller "tree" like on the right. Ill probably dive into that next week, this week is booked pretty solid unfortunatly.

yep, just a question of playing around with it. it's a good idea to let it sit for a few days that you can daydream about how to put different parts of it together.

One thing I have learned about this planted tank business is that nothing ever stays the same. I can leave my cichlid tanks decor in the same way for months and it still looks fine but with these planted tanks something isnt perfect and it aggrivates me until I do something about it.
