Hilde,
everything is in my 100 gal journal but here is an overview
Its mineralized soil, so no dosing except K occasionally.
I use Pool filter sand in a few of my tanks. This video is how I clean my sand
http://cichlid-forum.com/videos/cleaning_sand.php
Blyxa japonica
Didiplis diandra
Hemianthus micranthemoides
Lobelia cardinalis dwarf
Limnophilia aromatica
Limnophilia aquatica
Ludwigia arcuata
Ludwigia glandulosa
Ludwigia inclinata var. 'cuba'
Pogostemon stellatus
Pogostemon stellatus "Broad Leaf"
Rotala sp. Nanjenshan
Rotala green
Rotala mexicana (I think)
Rotala verticularis
Rotala Wallichii
Tonina fluviatilis

I am a little confused now. For the video of cleaning the tank shows cleaning a tank with only sand. Does the tank with mineralized soil have sand too? You can't clean it the same if you do. I shall check out your journal.

Send a message via AIM to Aubzilla
Depending on how much sand you cap it(MinSoil) with, you might be able to do it basically the same way- just be very careful when stirring up the sand.

Great vid!

Hilde,
You only hold the hose about 1/2" above the sand and you will pull very little sand up if any...just like the video. You won't pull up the soil because its under that sand.
I do the same thing as the video shows in my 100 mineralized
