My tanks.

New to the site, but not to the hobby. Just thought I would share my tanks. I actually have 12 tanks but these are my favorites.

All are planted except the 100 gallon.

First is my 125 gallon with peruvian scalare angels, GBRs, boesemani rainbows and cardinals

Second is my 55 gallon with my breeding pair of angels, bolivians, and praecox rainbows

Third is my 75 gallon with a lone angel, blood parrot, and a couple clown loaches

Last is my 100 gallon with an assortment of rainbows

Welcome

Welcome to TPT, your aquariums are all excellent! I'd love to see some closer shots of the 125G and 55G tanks. Running all of these must require a lot of work, how do you keep up with all of them? Are the others you mentioned smaller?

Thanks for the welcome. The 125 is the biggest i have setup. i have a 190 I am in the process of setting up that will house all of the rainbows I have together. Tanks I didnt picture include...

55 gallon
46 gallon
40 gallon
35 gallon hex
29 gallon
20 gallon
15 gallon
10 gallon
And a pond that is around 6,000 gallons.

I have a 5, 2.5, 15, 20 hex, and 25 gallon that is not set up.

As for more pictures, I will take some updated ones tomorrow and post them. But here is the 190 gallon acrylic tank i got off of craigslist for $100. You can see how big it is compared to our golfcart.

I love your 125 gallon. I cannot believe that blyxa. Mine never looks that good. What are your parameters on this tank? Also, what kind of lighting do you use? I've heard your plants are always fantastic (by others on another forum).

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.

Very cool. That 190 should be interesting.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Sewingalot, I do not know all of my parameters at the moment, but my ph is about 6.7, and I have pressurized co2. I have a 72 inch compact catfish lighting fixture with 4 96 watt 12000k daylight bulbs. Also have a 5th 96 watt 12000k bulb and a 54 watt T5 on the backside of the tank.

Now you are making me wonder who is bragging about me.

gmccreedy, I am still unsure if I am going to make it planted or not, but I probably will transfer everything in my 125 to it.

The dimensions on the 190 are 48" wide, 36" deep, 24" tall. It is actually around 187 gallons but I just round up.

The tall grass plant is blyxa japonica and the red plant is ammania gracialis.
