very nice.

was this a full group effort, or just you convincing the teacher to let you play in class?

:-)

Beautiful! If I had that in my classroom, I wouldn't be able to listen to the teacher, just watch the fish and the plants throughout the whole peroid...

Pretty tank and beautiful plants !
One question, the Blyxa has a reddish hue, has that something to do with the dosing of micros ? How much Iron are you adding weekly?

I find that if I run low nitrates it causes many of my plants to become redder in color.

I have the students track all of the parameters using a master test kit on a daily basis and then they record them. I will try to remember to take a pic of their data over the last month and then post it for you to look at.

Looks very nice.
I'm guessing that this is going to be a chemistry experiment gone good?
I would love to have that in my classroom.

Thanks
Jonathan/SeaSerpant

Here were the tank parameters over the last month. You have to be a little careful not to read too much into them because some of the students may not have the same "zeal" for perfection that planted tank people would

You teach the greatest chem class ever .

Aquarium Science. It should be a required course in all schools.

Got Plants?-6 CO2 + 12 H2O → C6H12O6 + 6 O2 + 6 H2O

Wow nice tank! I wish my science teacher had a tank in her classroom

Do you make the students dose, trim, etc.?
