Do you ever miss an old tank?

I don't know what has changed, but I don't seem to be able to find my way back to this place.

I miss my 10 gallon, it gave me no end of hassle was always algae ridden and looked horrible but the scape was so nice, I just wish I'd not given up on it.

I know what you two mean, at the time the tank seemed weird looking but somehow it was pretty neat when I think back...

For some stupid reason, I miss my 2hex, 5hex, and 10gal. None of those were really planted either....

Back in the 1960's my best friend and I found a used tank at a LFS. It was 48 x 8 x 8 inches and had a stainless steel bottom. I think we paid about ten bucks for this "oddball shaped" aquarium We put it on top of a book self in his bedroom. I always wanted to have a tank like that again and almost had one custom built.

I have had 100's of tanks in my life but that one was the one that hooked me on the hobby for good.
