bigdukes 30 gal tank

I know I should have done one of these when I set up my tank but it is not that far along so here it is.

Tank is a basic 30 gal tank that I bought at walmart and has the basic 20watt light. Today I went to lowes and got an outdoor flood light for 40 bucks and it is a 65 watt so that puts me up to 85 watts of light.

rocks I found and cleaned along with the driftwood. I used a bleach mix on them.

substrate is eco-complete

diy co2

filtration is hob and a sponge filter

plants that I know are java moss, java fern, dwarf hairgrass, and wisteria. if you can identify the others I would be glad to know what they are.

have 10 neons and 3 pygmy cories in there along with 18 cherry shrimp, 5 crystal red shrimp, 4 blueberries and 2 bamboo shrimp.

here are some pics

The tank hasn't been up that long so hopefully with new light on there the plants will really take off.

nice tank but for future reference turn the flash off when taking pics, use only the tank light.

Can't wait to see more pics when the plants really start growing out!!

Great job!

Yesterday I finished carving my moss tree out and put it in a bucket full of water and it leached out into the water and made it look like pee lol. so today I dumped out the water and put new water in it and hopefully in a day or two it will quit leaching because I dont want my tank water to turn yellow. The tree itself will look kinda like a cactus plant but I think it will look good when the moss starts growing on it when it is in the tank I will have pics for anyone that wants to see.
