Thanks! This is my first discus tank!I was always a little intimidated by them.My set up is very simple.
Flourite with a sand base.Standard all glass 48 in double bulb flour and a hagen glo double t-5.Mag 350 and ac 500.Mostly crypts, red rubin sword, anubius, tiger lilly, aponogeons.and a few stem plants. All the rocks came from Lake Ontario!

How many you have in there and how much they cost? I wouldnt mind sometime down the road trying them out but just have to read on them more.

I have six discus. Two are from a lfs about $75 for both. Then I bought four fish from Kennysdiscus.com.All four shipped from california was $300.And they are worth it.Very good color and shape.I could not be happier with the purchase.I also have a pair of double ed apistos,20 rummy noses, four clown loaches and two bnp's.Check out simply discus for info about keeping them.

ahh that Kennysdiscus.com is not there no more? I have been looking at them more and more to try them out but I want to read about them more before I jump in on the costly fish.

Beautiful discus! If I was braver, I would try to keep these fish. How difficult are they to care for?

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.
