Very nice. I think this would grow on the wood above the water line.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...

Thank you! It's growing in well, AR mini is becoming redder as well, and the MM is really taking off.
I'm hoping once the hydrocotyle japan grows in between the branch and the rocks it will even out the layout a little more, especially once I find an appropriate sized heater.

Haven't gotten around to stocking yet due to the weather, but I feel its coming along nicely. (minus some algae) I'll do some close ups as soon as the buce gets a little fuller.

Found some at my local river!!! Loved the very bright light green look. Do you know the name? Will it live under water?

Algae is finally starting to go. Added some Ember Tetras. I'm very pleased.

Great job on this man. Came out just awesome. Is there any chance you would do an inline heater?

Thanks!
Unfortunately, the tank is only 25" off the ground for now. Not enough room for an inline. But it's in the future.

Just updating.
Back in May, I did some major trimming. I pulled out the blyxa from the right side and was pretty happy.
Until.
While trimming the MM carpet, I was pulling on a runner and the entire carpet came up in one piece. Fed up, I rescaped the entire tank. Simplified it. UG carpet, some Hygrophila 'Araguaia' in the right corner and river stone. The GF now calls it Cairn.

I like both setups! Too bad on the MM carpet pulling up, I love the look of an MM carpet. Funny enough I was trying to see what UG and Hygrophila 'Araguaia' looked like in the 6.5 version of the Mr. Aqua, so I estimated what your tank would look like with 12" removed and I'm content with getting some Hygrophila 'Araguaia' to go with my UG
