[First timer] Fluval Edge! Seeking Advice

Hey guys!

I just recently purchased a Fluval Edge and wanted to take a stab at aquascaping. Been looking for a new hobby and I think this kind of thing is fricken cool!

So what I bought is

Gear:
Fluval Edge (http://goo.gl/gAWUlU)
Eco-Complete Substrate
100w Heater
CO2 Booster ( http://goo.gl/5kGFSu )

Plants:
Java Moss
Java Fern
Starugene
Cambomba
Pygmy Chain Sword

I was wondering if I could get some tips on my tank. Do I need a new light fixture or is the stock 21 LED in the Fluval Edge good enough? Will the plants I have carpet under these conditions?

Also note I do not have a co2 canister I am just putting in the liquid booster.

Also, I was wondering how I did on my planting job. Any feed back is welcome!

Where did the bubbles come from? Is the AC20 HOB constantly adding more (turn it down a bit?) or were they just left over from a vigorous filling process?

If the latter, they'll likely clear up on their own, or just use a magnetic scraper thingie (you have one, right?) to wipe them away.

Edit: Yes, I see you have the magnetic wiper. Just use that (you're going to be using it a LOT with an Edge) to wipe away the bubbles.

those bubbles happen to me all the time when refilling after a WC. Its comes from water coming out of (in my case) sink. Air/water mix ratio type deal.

They go away or like said above just wipe them away.

Alright, thanks.

And yea I just filled my tank a day ago.

What about the planting job? This is my first time doing this sort of thing. Do you think they will spread under the stock fluval edge lighting?

The Edge's stock lights aren't great, but they're fine for low light plants, definitely. Your Java fern and moss will do well under them. Slow growers, though.

I can't recall the requirements for the other plants. Generally, though, low tech tanks don't produce especially fast-spreading plants.

Would it be possible to grow HC under my conditions?

Dwarf Baby Tears generally require a high tech tank with medium to high light and pressurized CO2.
