I think it's beautiful for a first setup. Good job!

That is awesome - I love it. But if you are looking for ways to improve it, you might consider arranging the hairgrass jungle so that it leads from the back middle to the right front of the tank and have some tall stem plants to fill in the back corner.

You've done a great job in making the tank look bigger than it really is! Looks great -- nice and clean

I think a different color or texture would really add a lot to this aquascape. Maybe some Alternanthera reineckii would add a nice *pop*.

Even though they're cute and a lot of fun, I think the Marimo ball would be better suited in another environment.

Maybe this little diagram will help explain what I mean a bit better.

Anupam: OOH, I see what you mean now! Thanks for that pic it really helped and it looks like a good idea. what do you think of swapping the rocks... swapping the two smaller rocks. Bad idea?

Anyone else want to add to Anupams proposal?

G'day mate,

I think Anupam suggestion is good. I think it will add some depth or perspective to the layout.

Cheers,
Jang

Hey, nice and peaceful looking tank. I do like it. I agree with roybot73, the moss ball doesn't belong there.

I think this is an excellence scape, especially if it's your first. Lovely. What are the specs for the tank? Dimensions, substrate, fauna.. ect. Are you using pressurized?
I want to do something like this in my 10. Great job!!
