Kevin's 40b

Hi my name is Kevin and this is my second planted tank. I have a homemade canopy with 4 23w 6500k cfl bulbs on a 8hr timer. I started injecting co2 about 4 mo ago and have removed/added plants afterwards. Im running a Milwaukee regulator, Milwaukee pH monitor, max mix reactor with power head attached. My filtration is a penguin 280 hob, and also run an aqueon 600 circulation pump. The substrate in this tank is Eco/flourite mix with root tabs added. I have S.repens I'm trying to get to carpet, myriophyllum tuberculetam, pogostemos erectus, nesea pedicellata golden, ludwigia acurata x repens, bacopa moneri, rotola colorata/indica as my background. There is also some bronze crypts, Madagascar lace plant, Indian red swords. The driftwood has riccia fluitans attached to it.

I for one like it sir. Looks like your reds will be nicely bracketed by the greens. Driftwood seems to be the focal point ( based on location via the golden ratio). If so, the riccia will help it stand out. Thumbs up

Thanks. I plan to add some parrot feather and replace the rotola colorota with wallichi. I'm waiting for replacement hose for my fluval canister, so I can run my reactor outside the tank.

Well my tank kinda took a turn for the worse do to my lighting. I have temporarily fixed it hopefully. I have removed the driftwood due to algae and it just deteriorating. I've added some blyxa, rotala wallichi, sunset hygro, l. Cuba, l.aromatica, and a few others.(Some new trimmed pieces floating in second pic). Hope it turns around until I upgrade lighting. I'm not to happy with it right now though.
