Apisto in 30G Planted

Hey all I'm new to the forum and wanted to share a few pictures of my Apistogramma Agassizi "Blue Line" that's currently in my 30 gallon planted tank. No shots of the tank yet though, will have some soon.

I love your fish. I have two pairs of the same. Mine are v. Double Reds, but they look exactly like yours, including the blue line. Both of ours are probs the same, just two different names.
Awesome fish and will breed readily when happy. The females colour up so nicely too!

hey guys thanks for all the replies. I figured I'd post some info on the tank while I wait for my camera to charge. It's a 36" long 30 gallon with a 36" JBJ powercompact on it. I am running 4, 36W bulbs ( 2 JBJ 50/50 Actinic &white, 2 Coralife Daymax 10,000K). I also have a Red Sea Bio C02 system ( Planning on splitting hose and adding second reactor to tank), as well as a Fluval 204 with spray bar. In the Fluval I'm running 1 bag of chemi pure, 1 bag of keta peat mixture, and as much biological media as I could fit. The Substrate I have is a bottom layer of Seachem Flourite Black sand with a top layer of the Red Sea granulated plant substrate. The Flora are: Anubias Nana, Ozelot Sword, Crypt. Wendti, Dwarf Baby Tears, Java Moss, Red Ludwigia, Green Cabomba, Broadleaf Sag, Dwarf Sag, Rotala, hygrophylia "Broadleaf", jungle vallisneria, duckweed. The Fauna are: 1 Pair of Apisto. Agassizi , 1 Flag Killie, 5 Oto cats, 1 siamese algae eater, 6 Japonica Shrimp, 5 Praecox Rainbows, 2 Leopard Danios, 5 Zebra Danios. I'm planning on removing the Zebra danios and adding some more colorful Danio Roseus.

It's no wonder A. agassizi is so common yet so popular - beautiful variant.

Was this bought online or local?

Thumbs up

I love apistos. Those shots look better than the ID guides. I bet it's a site with a flared dorsal! Beauty.
