Tatia gyrina 20G

I have a lead on a pretty cool fish and I think also a good concept for a display tank. Tatia gyrina is one of those small South American driftwood catfishes. They're pretty cool. They just hide wedged up in driftwood crevices all day, but they go wild when you drop food in the tank.

Here is my concept for the setup...
  • Low & broad ~20-gallon rimless aquarium - 24" X 18" X 11"
  • Pool filter sand bottom
  • Single driftwood stump
  • Riparium plants.
This will be easy to put together, but it should turn out pretty cool. I've made a number of small rimless aquariums and they go together pretty easy. I'll have to think more about some kind of stand for the tank.
