15G Tall - The Shrimp Jungle

This is a basic tank with a some easy plants. The tank is very mature (1.5 years old). I set this tank up to show that even with some simple plant varieties, you can make it look good. No CO2. I dose Flourish Comprehensive once every two weeks. 25% water change every 2-3 weeks. Hardly any maintenance at all.

Flora:

Anubias barteri
Cryptocoryne wendtii (bronze & green)
Limnobium laevigatum

Fauna:

Neocaridina davidi (cherry red)
Otocinclus vestitus
Melanoides tuberculata
Planorbis rubrum

Equipment:

15G tall aquarium (derimmed upper)
Finnex FugeRay Planted+ 20"
Eheim 2213
Eheim Jager 75W
Coralife Eco-Complete
Manzanita driftwood

Enjoy:

Nice! It gives me some inspiration to get a low tech tank setup.

Nice little tank! Very natural looking, I really like it. Low maintenance is a great plus, I could never own a tank that I had to trim every week.

I really like the Limnobium laevigatum little lilypad looking plants. Never seen them before, I might have to try to track some down, very cool little plants.
