Sorry if this isn't an introduction area, but I figured since it's for pictures it'd be a good place to start. I recently started getting more into planting the aquariums and have had good luck so far with my 75 gallon.
For being on minimal ferts/etc the plants are striving quite well. Noticed I have a few Java Ferns growing around the tank that I didn't plant there(they originally came off the big one in the middle) and a few other misc plants are starting to pop up. I'm also going to look into doing some low light in my 55 cichlid tank to give it a little more umph. Any constructive criticism is appreciated Look forward to becoming a part of the community.

Java ferns are sneaky like that; I like the look of the tank

I also have a 55 gal Cichlid tank. I've been thinking of putting in some Java fern and anubias. Just to see what they would do, i put a moss covered rock in the tank one night...the next morning the rock was clean as a whistle.

The 75 originally had a U shape of gravel around the sides/back and sand in the front, but as you can see the cories and plecos didn't take long to get it all mixed up. I really want to start doing the aquascaping on it to make it look better, but I'm afraid of losing any fish(my plecos had babies recently, so I don't want to end up killing them accidentally)
