Dave's 20 Gallon High Journey

Hi, i'm new to the forum. Here's the recent progress of my 20 gallon. I've played around with the driftwood that I have to try different aquascapes.

A few days ago I planted a 20 gallon low-light package:

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Looks good! I'd be thinking about foreground plants - staurogyne repens and dwarf sag, maybe?

Thanks. Are those two plants low light? I've got the Aqueon dual T8 fixture - it's 28 watts total.

Yes, they'll both grow under low light, especially the sag. Staur rep grows better with CO2, but I've seen alot of people here grow it without (slowly).

I would call your setup VERY low light, however. Since you've got a tall tank, it's going to be that much harder for light to get down to your plants.

I'd suggest a dark table cloth to remove the glare of the white table surface on the tank glass. Also to move the marimo into the shade of another plant, it needs very little light, and may turn white if given too much light.

Due to photobuckets new bs cost for use of images on forums I have deleted all photobucket accounts. I apologize if you enjoyed or found my photos helpful.

Good idea on the table cloth! And will do on the marimo ball, thanks.
