My 40 gallon breeder community tank.

After a few months of work, I am finally ready to show off my tank. This is my first tank, and it has been quite an experience getting to this point!

It is low tech, fertilized with root tabs, excel and fluorish. Current Satellite Plus LED light.

Fish:
2 German Blue Rams (Male + Female)
6 Praecox Rainbow (3 Male 3 Female)
11 Cardinal Tetras
3 Sterbai Corys
3 Otocinclus
1 Marble Angelfish

Here is the tank when I first planted it at the end of July before I added fish:

And here it is today:

I've battled diatoms and cyanobacteria in this tank, but it is finally under control. I have also had an epidemic of dropsy that I hope is finally gone. My anubias died except for one leaf but now I have 4 more growing in! The other plants have all thrived. I've removed entire handfulls of java moss already. I have Italian Vals which you can see behind the driftwood on the right. I also have it behind the driftwood on the left, but it isn't tall enough to really see. My next project is filling in the background in that area. I'm open to any suggestions, especially about how to proceed to get it more heavily planted without taking away swimming room for my angel and rainbows.

bump

Currently dealing with a sick Ram. She has been hanging out behind the HOB filter for days. She looks fine but isn't eating. I'm pretty worried about her.
