The Ruins - 50 Gallon

Update 12/10/2014

Plants seem to be doing well. Dealing with a slight algae outbreak.

------

Got into the hobby a little over two months back and after setting up an ADA 60P I wanted to set up a bigger more substantial tank.

After patiently collecting/building the equipment and materials I finally can start, here is the hardscape that i have settled on :

The tank is an aqueon 50 gallong
LED strip from BuildMyLed 36 inches 10000K
DIY CO2 regulator - found awesome instructions on this forum
Filter Fluval g3

More to follow.

Do share your thoughts.

Thanks
Muktesh

I really dig that set up and the open space on the right. What kind of fish do you plan to keep?

That looks pretty sweet buddy! I like the way the hardscape looks, very natural. I am currently trying to grow some Dwarf Hairgrass in my tank using an LED light setup. My results are mixed so far. I hope it works out for you.

I have an AQUARIUM.

Thanks! Apart from what I mentioned I will be adding Hygrophila pinnatifida and Rotala wallichii.
