how come you didn't fully clean the tank before redoing it? looks like massive patches of algae stuck on the glass there... otherwise, looks great

nice big tank =) lots of plants i like it ! one suggestion maybe create like a ''road'' or ''path'' ? its so long itll be cool i think especially since u have low plants atm . like the dw's are houses and plants are trees ..maybe a diff sub (river) even . lol . keep it up !

would be sweet if u upd the fish count too . very cool on keeping small fish if u could see hugh schools/shoals moving together in that tank

it was more of keeping track of the build. i have cleaned the rest of the algae that i had off.

the fish count will go up. these were the ones i had thats already been though qt. its prob going to take a couple months to stock. its going to be all small schooling fish.

I think this tank has a lot of potential, I'll be excited when the plants have grown in and more fish are added. something about swarms of fish always peaks my interest.

Why did you use 30lb SMS? Did you had that in there before then added 10 bags of ECO Complete. I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my 110g tank, I have about 80lbs of SMS that I'm not too pleas with {being lite and dusty during cleaning} I have 3.5 inches in the front and slopes up to 8 inches in the back, I am thinking of adding 10 bags ECO and keep about 1-3 inches in the back area slope the sides with my SMS and replace the center and slop it back up with ECO. My tank is 60x18 and i have 30 inch x 4 inch strips of clear plastic at the bottom of my tank to keep my slope up an the front center low and I like the Darker Black look too.
