3G Shkrimp Tank 56K! Rescape Now Done

Ok I went out to petsmart today after being at the lake and bought an eclipse system 3. At the lake i went out and picked out some plants. Out of the 6 plants so far only 2 plants actually worked. In this tank i will be have red cherry shrimp as the major shrimp and maybe some other show shrimp. I plan to have 1 pea puffer. (depends on how aggressive it turns out to be). So i squeezed out as much juice as i could out of the cameras batteries and so here are the pictures. (the aquarium is cloudy because of the sand.)

The Tank

Un Identified Lake plant Can you identify it that'd be great

Thanks
Jonathan/SeaSerpant

shrimps=puffer food

No matter how non-aggressive the puffer is, those shrimps are history.

It's really hard to see. Maybe recharge the battery and let the tank settle a bit?

Agree on the let the tank settle, but from what I can see that's a really cool plant. I wonder if (from my limited experience) it's a high light plant given its red leaves? Are you planning on some crazy good lighting for your tank?

Well the pea puffer, like always, has different results, some go after shrimp some don't. I will definitly cycle the tank Other wise the shrimp are as good as dead. I can't find the charger for the camera so that is why i had to squeeze the juice out of the battery. I am thinking the tank will have settled down by the morning. The sand was straight out of the 120 so I'm hoping this will result in a quick cycle.

Thanks
Jonathan/SeaSerpant

Okay. the aquarium has cleared up and now i think only the bacteria is left (from the sand) and is now colonizing. Since pictures are what you wanted, pictures are what you get. (i was on a deadline because my cameras batteries are dead and we can't find the charger.)

The Tank

The Plant Can you tell what it is yet? (remember it is in a lake in the great north)

The Plants Flower Yep A flower

Sorry for the bad pics I have made a movie and should be on youtube in a second. (I Don't know whats slower uploading it, photobucket or youtube.)

Well i guess photobucket was faster this time so it will soon be on youtube too (i'll put up the link for youtube once it's done.) For now here is the link

it really depends on your puffer, theyre like a bloated finless betta splendens. they have their own personality. it may be a shrimp killer, it may not be. who knows until you try it out??

Ya i'm going to put the moss tree in and make a moss lawn. I am thinking that most of the plants will have to go into the 120 but i all depends on how it turns out.

Thanks
