Whisker Schrimp! Pic

Hey! here are some pictures of my whisker schrimps! Feel free to use them for any profile or some thing else. There are almost no info about them as well as pics. Enjoy!

Nop! I don't know anything about them. I'm not sure if they need salt water to release the eggs. There is not much info out there!!

they can grow to 9" to 12" long!!, they eat small fish at night and will eat any other shrimp around! there like crayfish almost! there a long arm shrimp i was told; really freshwater prawns!!

my local store has them, 1.39 each, they look like huge 3" ghost shrimp, im goin to get 3 tommorow!! hehe!!

At first, I thought you were joking. But I decided to look them up, and wow! You are not joking at all!

The shrimp appears to be a Macrobrachium sp.. They grow very large! Some of the Macrobrachium species can also be very aggressive.

Fascinating shrimp!

Hmmmm..... Had 5, went down to 2 (3 commited suicide - back of the tank didn't have the plastic gap guard on), and now have at least 3. Appearently babies don't need salt.

210 g - Empty right now
