DIY Co2 bottle fractal

Check out the fractal that formed at the surface of my 2 liter co2 bottle overnight. Nature does some pretty cool things. Has anyone else noticed similar patterns on yours?

It reminds me of a flower/star or maybe a gingerbread man!

Yea, I get that all the time too, if you keep it long enough, the "flower petal" pattern raises and looks like a dirty white flower.

look at how the bottom of the bootle is designed it might have something to do with how the bubbles float up from the bottom in that pattern.

Ohhh.. So then I guess it's not actually a natural fractal. Thanks for pointing that out. Maybe we could try shaping the bottoms of our bottles into some other interesting designs. Haha.
