I saw mine do the same thing and after it was over, shrimps and snails swarmed the area. So, no babies.

I think the most remarkable thing is the high nitrates (and elevated TDS levels). This was during a phase I was trying to limit water changes; I'm not still doing this because I don't think it was necessarily good for fish health -- the spawning may have more to do with the excessive plant growth than the water params.

There were three eggs or so underneath the ludwigia leaf you see. My cory cats had spawned a few weeks prior, so I put the eggs in the same breeding net, but I think the snails got them. No babies to report (I only ended up with 2 cories out of about 100 eggs... these have been my first spawns in three years of fish keeping, so I'm sure I messed something up).
