36 Gallon Bow Front

Hi everyone:

This is my 36 gallon recently set up with live plants after changing from plastic plants. It has been up for about a week. This photo has been taken with a digital camera. Enjoy!

Tank Specifications:

Aquarium: 30" x 15" x 21" Black All-Glass
Lighting: Coralife 30" T-5 Freshwater Aqualight - 36W
Filtration: Eheim Ecco 2232
Heater: Jager 125W
CO2: Red Sea Turbo Bio-System
Substrate: 30 lbs - Flourite Black
Inhabitants: 1 Marlboro Red, 1 Blue Snakeskin, and 1 Pigeon Blood
Flora:
  • Vallisneria Tortifolia
  • Hygrophilia Corymbosa “Siamensis”
  • Microsorum Pteropus
  • Cryptocoryne Div.
  • Alternanthera Roesaefolia
  • Lilaeopsis Novaezelandiae
  • Hygrophila
I hope to see it grow out nicely in the coming months!

Here is an update of the tank after 2.5 weeks. The alternanthera and Hygrophilia Corymbosa “Siamensis” have grown a ton. The vals are slowly growing! I love my Blue Snakeskin, the colour is beautiful.

I love the colors and textures. And those discus are spectacular!

Is that just tank lighting you're using for the pics, or something else?

What bulbs are you running?

They are tank lighting. I am running a 18W 6700K and 18W Colormax. Thanks for the comments!
