Smile Fluval Chi 25L

Hi ladies and gents,

Having used this forum for inspiration several times, I thought it would be nice to introduce myself. I have always enjoyed seeing people set up their aquarium and I thought. I would return the favour. I live in Madrid and I'm Dutch so excuse my English.

I have put this tank on the introduction page, however since there are still some changes in the near future, I thought this would be a better place to post.

I have had a 40 liter aquarium in the past and a fluval edge, however no pics

Without further ado, I introduce to you, my fluval chi

Tank:
Fluval chi 25 liter,
Has (poor) incorporated LED lighting
A carbon and sponge filter
Eheim 25W heater
Aqua Grow plant and shrimp soil (3 liter)
Water

Plants:
Anubis petite (on the rock)
Micranthemum, monte carlo (foreground)
Marsilea, crenata (background)

Also some rock I don't know the name of. They seem to have some channels in them and the hollow tubes would be nice for the shrimp.

I'm having no animals in the tank as yet, however after in a week or so I will most likely introduce around 8 Crystal Red Shrimp. I would like something swimming in there, however I realise it is a bit of a small tank.

I'm not planning on using CO2 because that seems a bit complicated and. I prefer to wait and see how the plants do in the current setup.

Before the last picture I propperd up the bigger rock a bit to put the focus point of the scape somewhat more in the middle (height wise). I plan on moving the smaller rock somewhat for estetic reasons.

Please feel free to critise!

Went to the shop today to check my water values. I guess I should buy on of those tester kits. Its that what you guys would recommend?

Anyways those values were fine and I bought two RCS and two blue ones. I forgot the name of those, oops!

To give the tank a bit more of a vertical scape I decided to put in some frogite. Since the LEDs are submurged I reckoned that they wouldnt steal any light and could live off the ambient lighting in my study.

Here are some pics of my new flatmates!
