First venture Fluval Spec II

Started this little tank originally to take to work but its not going. Picked up a second one for the desk. First ever attempt at planted. There is more substrate in the tank than I wanted but its to late to remove it. Tank has been up almost two weeks. I will try to add pictures weekly

Started out with DSM and decided to flood after a week.

Fluval Statum
Fluval PCL-13
Aqueon heater 10w
DIY CO2

Ferts: PPS-Pro from GLA

Plants: Staurogyne Repens
Dwarf Hair Grass

Five days after flooding

thanks guys. I actually made some small changes last night moved a rock and replanted some things. Just was not quite happy with it. I'll get a new picture tonight.

This is the current state of the tank. As I mentioned moved one rock and replanted some stuff. Can't wait for it to fill in properly.

Just need to figure a way to slow the CO2. Gonna try a different recipe soon so I can add some shrimp.

Just and update shot. This has been up and running 03/27. Filling in very well to date. Gonna have to trim the DHS soon. Also included a shot of the second Spec I put on my desk at work.
