My 215 Discus Planted Tank

Hi,
Just wanted to share pics of my 215 gallons planted discus tank. This tank is constantly evolving.

This is what it lookded like before. I had to remove the adults. They started to pair up and caused a rukus in the tank.

I'd go as far as saying this is amazing, I'd prefer wild discus being my only very slight niggle.

Very nice. Is that an Oceanic tank? If memory serves me, I believe they make one called a 215. If so, that is my new dream tank size.

I take it from the photo credit that you raise discus commercially?

Yes, it's an Oceanic. Thanks to Mike at ADG. I raised and import as well.

danDman nice tank ~! I love discus also, and this tank is very nice
and i think, i'm going to make a big tank as yours in the future.
can you tell us little more about your setup?
size, filtration, lighting ,etc...

Specs..
Tank- 72x24x29
Lights- 6ft. Coralife, 3 - 150 watts metal halide HQI and 4 - 65watts cp.
Substrate- ADA amazonia and power sand plus and white gravel up front.

Thank you. To continue from above.
Filtration- Eheim 2262
wet/dry - overflow is in the center of the big piece of driftwood. The pump is set on slow flow to reduce lost of Co2.
C02- 30ppm

danDman may i ask a question about ur lights?
where did u get those light from ?
if it was from online could u tell me which website? and Are u using the compact blue bulbs or u changed it to another one?
