Looks like you have an excellent start. I will be interested in seeing the progress. Couple of things though:

1)30g needs a background . It will be so much more pleasing.
2)Lose the rock in the DP tank, you have the wood and it simply does not fit IMHO.
3)The wood seems to just blend in. I would suggest getting more and making it the focal point.
4) Are those seashells in the tank? Remove them, they are doing nothing for your tank.
5)10g tank needs a solid color background.
6)Get some wood or a rock to attach the moss.
7)Come up with a layout for both tanks. They look a bit messy. Soon your tanks will look amazing with the right layout

Good luck

thank you. I am setting up a moss wall for the ten gallon, i just cant find plastic mesh. I can find metal mesh but not plastic. Should i get thick gnarled wood or big long thin peices and tangle them up?

What color of back ground for both tanks?

The wood is on you. I personally like the gnarly looking wood. It just has so much personality that it really makes a tank.

I think black backgrounds will do alot for your tanks. At least from what I read on the site.

Go to your local home improvement store and look for Gutter Guard. It works great for moss walls. https://www.hardwareworld.com/6in-X2...d-pYB7L3X.aspx

i got plastic mesh by going to Michaels and going to the knitting sections. It has those stuff that are used for sowing. A piece around 14x10 was only 80 cents or so

i do have a problem making it sink though

I couldn't find any at a craft store either, but wal-mart has it. It is called 7 mesh and is in the small crafts section near the fabric/sewing section. They usually have black and white.

I got plastic mesh from Michael's. Don't remember which section--probably the knitting section.

I like big pieces of gnarled wood over big long thin pieces, but that's personal preference. Try both!

Black background is usually a safe colour--works well with any tank.
