20 (US) Gallon long Journal

I started out with a 20 gallon long for my RCS...

October 18, 2006

Equipment:
Eheim Ecco 2234 w/Hydor ETH201 200 watt inline heater (82F)
NO Flourescent light (20watts)
Black Beauty sand
No ferts
No CO2

Plants:
Cabomba
Java Fern
Java Moss
Sunset Hygro

Fauna:
(2) L-046 Zebra Plecos
(?) RCS

Notes:
Moved majority of the Corkscrew val over to the 29 gallon, since the tank is taller. Also moved most of the Ludwigia palustris, since the plant was growing fast.

I like the little caves you made. Those are pretty cool. What did you make them out of? I can't really see in the picture.

I made them from slate tiles and using aquarium silicone (black). Here's a pic of some I made...



Of course, the ones in the tank are much smaller.

Wow those plants grew beautifully. Nice growth overall. I like the little caves, used to make those when i bred tanganyikan cichlids

Good idea on those caves. Very nice especially for crayfishes.
