6.6 gallon planted tank

Here is my first planted tank and tank journal. Decided to take the plunge with my first planted tank to raise little shrimpys.

Here is what the tank looks like right after planting (Day 0)

Substrate:

Flourite black with black sand overlay

Plants

Dwarf hair grass (Eleocharis parvula)
Java Fern (Microsorum pteroptus)
El nino fern (Bolbitis heudelotii) think this may also be called African water fern

Let me know what you think and whether I should add any other species.

Haven't considered CO2 yet, but may in the future.

The tank is from SR Aquaristik. Seemed pretty neat. The LED's are a mix of bright white and blue with multiple levels.

Can be found here.

Update:

Getting tannins from the wood.

Guess water changes are in order.

Purigen or carbon can help with tannins. Looks good, what kind of tank is that?

Considering another rooted plant for background behind the large rock. Any suggestions?
