From above!

I cover all my tanks with canopies, and only during maintenance I enjoy the view from above. Somehow it looks completely different than from upfront.

This is my 10gal tank, overgrown with Pellia, Suesswassertang, various mosses, Javaferns and Saggitaria.

Do you have any shots from the top?

i have a conept in mind for a broad, shallow tank to be mostly viewed from above. short side pieces should make it easy to build such a container.

with the same project in mind i have been shopping around for a CF or LED spotlight that could be hung closer to the ceiling, but no luck yet.

some fish, especially mollies and guppies and the like, are also real nice viewed frmo above.

that's why the chinese bred goldfish, so it's pretty from above... this was before they had glass aquariums.

crazy bladderworts. or something.

I guess nobody has any topless pictures

Ahh well... here is the same area, frontal shot. Not as exciting, huh?

Nice tank Wasserpest. I'd say that tank deserves to be topless!

Awesome, finally some responses. Thanks for posting your shots. Does look completely different than upfront...

bsmith, nice tank, try to avoid reflections by moving the camera or lights around, and not using the on-camera flash.
